NGPL improving frequency from 28 days to every 14 days. Vessel direct calling Jakarta and Surabaya (Teluk Lamong). Surabaya best transit time 8-day to PNG
We are pleased to announce an upgrade to our Southeast Asia (SEA) service. With effect December 2022 we will offer:
• Increased port calls into Jakarta, improving frequency from 28 to every 14-days.
• The only direct product between Surabaya to PNG and the Solomon Islands, on a 14- day frequency.
• 10-day transit time from Jakarta to PNG.
• 8-day transit time from Surabaya to PNG.
The upgraded SEA Service will commence in mid-December with MV Coral Chief, on voyage 2301S. This will be reflected in next week’s schedule.
The service enhancement provides customers with an increased frequency of port calls into Jakarta and Surabaya as a new direct port call - an upgrade from the existing transhipment option. Customers shipping to Motukea from Jakarta and Surabaya can look forward to transit times of 10 and 8 days respectively.
The SEA Service is one of our well-established products. It currently connects Port Kelang (Malaysia), Singapore and Jakarta (Indonesia), with Motukea, Lae, Rabaul and Madang (Papua New Guinea) and Honiara (Solomon Islands), at fixed day windows with specified container terminals, enabling us to provide certainty and reliability in the shipment of goods.
We continue to invest in our product offerings and improve our service frequencies so that we can improve overall customer experience and save our customers’ time. The latest in our product offerings, the upgraded SEA Service reflects our commitment to better serve customers and communities in the Asia-Pacific region.
Should you have any questions or to make a booking, please do not hesitate to contact your local NGPL representative. Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to serving you.
